Our paths crossed in the fast-paced world of Hong Kong’s food and beverage industry. We were two kindred spirits longing for a shift, seeking a lifestyle grounded in intentionality, creativity, and simple living. As our friendship deepened over shared dreams, we discovered a powerful synergy in our complementary strengths.

Yunchona’s Story: Nature & Art
For Yunchona, nature and art have always been gentle family heirlooms. Growing up, her mother would sit with her and talk about their Kirati heritage, an ancient, nature-revering faith where every tree, mountain, river, and flame carries a living spirit. Her mother taught her that nature isn't separate from us; it is something sacred to honor every single day.
Creativity was also passed down at home. Yunchona vividly remembers watching her mother paint beautiful flower vases, filling their home with quiet artistic warmth. Naturally drawn to creative expression, Yunchona immersed herself in the world of art as she grew older: painting, exploring fine arts, crocheting, and mastering different crafts to bring her imagination to life.
Her happiest childhood memories were simple: eating fresh local honey, watching bees drift through local farms, and realising how much care goes into every single hive. Years later, as an artist seeking a new path, she spent years studying the dedicated craft of candle making and attending specialised classes.
When she began working with pure beeswax, everything clicked. It gave her a way to blend her deep artistic soul with the sacred nature she grew up honoring, transforming beeswax into sculptural, non-toxic art that brings a piece of the earth into your home.
Radha’s Story: Ritual & Clean Living
For Radha, candles were a constant backdrop to growing up in Nepal. During frequent load-shedding hours when the electricity went out, the whole house would go dark, and out came the candles. In a big family with lots of cousins, those blackouts weren't an inconvenience; they were a reason to gather around the table, share stories, celebrate, and feel close. Candles naturally became a symbol of warmth and togetherness.
After moving to Hong Kong, lighting a candle after a long, exhausting day in the fast-paced F&B industry became her daily ritual to unwind and stay grounded. However, being extremely sensitive to synthetic products and chemicals, finding something clean and non-toxic to light at home felt almost impossible. She kept searching for a flame that brought peace without irritating her senses.
The Spark: Bridging Art, Business, and Nature
The turning point came during one of our regular hangouts when Yunchona shared her passion for crafting pure beeswax candles. For Radha, it was an instant revelation: "I've been looking for something clean to light my entire life."
Our vision immediately converged, bringing back those childhood memories of sitting around a table in the dark, sharing stories, and creating something with our hands. A natural partnership formed:
Yunchona took the lead as our creative artisan—overseeing production, artistic design, and mastering both the slow, traditional art of hand-dipping pure beeswax and crafting custom vegetable wax blends (like soy and coconut).
Radha took the helm on the business side—leading operations, brand strategy, and customer connection to ensure our vision could flourish and reach your home.

Today, traditional hand-dipped beeswax candles are at the very heart of what we create.
